LaVon Sonne, President of Sonne Consulting, Inc. (SCI) has been providing consulting and Fee Accounting services since 1996. Ms Sonne has been in the housing business since 1993 and has worked with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs since 1986.

The firm has been involved with most Housing Authority programs such as Public Housing, Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8), Capital Fund Programs, Home funds, Tax Credit Projects, Community Development Block Grants, New Construction and Rehab programs. SCI has managed numerous computer conversions, written procedures manuals, accounting policies, investment policies, and cash management programs.

Our main focus continues to be on budgets, financial statement preparations, REAC FASPHA and FASSUB reporting, bank reconciliations, and posting all transactions into the client approved accounting software on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Our staff includes a broad range of expertise, and we have access to a network of professionals with skills in every facet of the Affordable Housing industry.

• Financial Reporting: Financial Statements are the report cards which allow a company to know how they are doing and we believe that they should be timely and accurate.
  
• Bank Reconciliation: All cash accounts of the company should be reconciled on a monthly basis, we provide timely and accurate reconciliation services.
